CH Rossmore Lightnin Strikes (Arin) is a sound bitch, who was imported from Argentina to the United States by Nya Star. She is owned by Shawn Hazen and Kellyn Miller. Arin is a Best Puppy in Show winner (at 5 moths old) who also has a zest for hunting. Arin is more at home in the field then in the show ring, though she does show beautifully and has been shown by even a 10 year old little girl for her International Championship. Arin is 21¼ ” tall and 45lbs making her a small bitch. She has correct marking with clear islands of red and a wonderful vibrant white. Arin is an AKC champion of record. Arin is also a natural pointer and has had no professional hunting training, though she is quite the hunting dog. Arin currently has her Junior Hunting Title, earned in 1 weekend with 4 passes. She has one leg of her CD, 2 more to go. We will then explore other events to try with Arin.

AKC CH Carraig Colo Sceolang TDX, NA, CGC (Scully) is a wonderful dog who originally came from Canada. He lives in the Chicago, IL area with his owner, Eibhlin Glennen. Scully won Winners Dog at the IRWS Club of Canada National in 2005. He also placed in the open dog class at the 2009 American National (at 8 and a half). Scully is the first Irish Red and White Setter to earn a Tracking title, he currently has both his Tracking Dog Title and his Tracking Dog Excellent. Eibhlin is currently working with Scully for his Versatile Surface Tracking Title and once he achieves this title he will be a Champion Tracker. Scully has two passes on his Novice Agility Jumpers title, and has his Novice Agility Title. As well as being a titled dog he gives back doing therapy work with the Read to Me Program. Scully at 25" tall and 62lb has a beautiful clear coat, strong front, and broad head piece. It goes without saying such a nice dog is an AKC Champion.

The match up of Scully and Arin combines several wonderful old hunting lines. There are field trial and show titles on both sides of the pedigree.

This litter produced some wonderful puppies, 3 girls and 4 boys. Of which 6 will be pursuing AKC titles in 2010/2011.
