Sampson's Story

Sampson is a gentle giant at 168 lbs and loves to play with the two dauschounds next door that play peek-a-boo through a small hole in the bottom of the vinyl fence.  We adopted Sampson in from his owners in Scottsdale AZ when they told us they could no longer take care of him at 12 mos.  We had him for 3 months total and then placed him with the Lemon family in Utah that have 4 kids and have been caring for him as a 7th family member since.  Sampson is a fantastic dog and very athletic...but has such bad hip dysplasia that his new family kindly had him neutered.  He has a super sweet temperment and like most Boerboels is an excellent watch dog as well and has a deep resounding bark that makes him sound more like 250 than 168lbs.  The Lemon's kids are also celebrities at their Elementary school because of their famous dog Samson.

His bunny hop with both back feet will bring tears to the eyes of any animal lover and when he runs it is a clear reminder that taking every precaution to ensure that a pup will have parents with the best possible health clearances is essential.  Samson is a great dog and is even better with all 50 kids that run the neighborhood.  We are grateful to the Lemons for taking him in and giving him such a great home and such great care."
